"I chose Phi Rho because I wanted to be surrounded by an uplifting and caring group of girls that valued having long lasting friendships. I feel so at home in Phi Rho because these girls are so empathetic and understand the challenges engineering throws at us, not only being in a male-dominated field, but also being academically challenging. My favorite memory in Phi Rho is the week of finals when I got pied. I enjoyed being able to give people a laugh as well as allow people to relieve some stress right before finals. Phi Rho has become a second home for me, not only by giving me a wonderful family to be a part of, but also by helping me excel professionally and academically."
