Phi Sigma Rho Sorority is governed by the National Convention and the National Council. The Convention serves as the legislative branch of the sorority and is comprised of each member of council, and delegates from each chapter, and the corresponding alumni organization. The Convention is the final ruling party in judicial matters and meets biennially.

The National Council is composed of nine members and acts as the executive and judiciary body of the sorority. Council consists of an Executive Committee and four additional council members. In addition, national committees are often appointed in order to assist the council members. The national council meets biannually to review the affairs of the Sorority and implement additional programming, adjust regulations, and execute judiciary matters.

Each active organization has its own officers and meeting night. Each chapter also has one or more advisors (often faculty members and alumni) which serve as liaisons with the school.

Active National Committees

The Ritual Committee: The Ritual defines the values and principles of the Sorority. Phi Sigma Rhos Ritual, in current state, has the potential to be brought to life more in daily sorority activities, sisterhood and what it means to be a Phi Rho. Unfortunately so many see Ritual synonymous with ceremony. On the contrary, Ritual ought to be what we live, intertwined with all that we do and the choices we make. In recognizing the opportunity, the 9th National Council has selected as one of the key deliverables for their term an effort to re-focus on the Ritual. The Ritual will be re-staged holistically via a Ritual committee consisting of alumnae and actives from diverse chapters.
