Mary McWilliams

A charter member of the Ohio State-Beta chapter, Mary earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Franklin University. She also holds an MBA from Ashland University, a certificate in program and project management from American Graduate University and currently is in her third year of seminary studies at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, pursuing an MA in Divinity.

Mary is a lead engineer for DLA Land and Maritime and also serves as an associate minister in the capacity as an ordained elder for her church, Triedstone Baptist Church. She has been an adjunct instructor with Columbus State Community College, Ohio Dominican University and University of Phoenix. As a technical professional, Mary has worked for several multi-national companies in capacities of purchasing agent, process engineer, supplier quality engineer, manufacturing engineer and supply chain management.  She also provides consultancy services to several non-government technical bodies in the capacity of government liaison such as the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), National Electrical Manufacturers (NEMA), and Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA).

Mary is an active alumni regional and national alumni officer for NSBE of which she has been a member since 1982. She has served on the National Professionals Board in the capacity of Special Projects Chair; Leadership and Operations Development, as National Professionals Chair-elect and, now, National Professionals Chair.
